Giving yourself grace during periods of transition….

Lead With Strength. Embody Your Truth. Spread The Love.

Hello beautiful people, I hope to find you healthy and well, and that your new year is off to a good start. <3

I’m finally starting to stir out of my winter cocoon…my month-long sabbatical turned into more like 5 or 6 weeks due to snow days, sub-zero temps, and a stomach bug (boo hoo!)…

But I’m finally starting to see the light, and I’m pretty sure I’m gonna make Imbolc on Feb. 1 my official start to 2024 this year, and potentially every year moving forward! ;)

I popped onto IG LIVE yesterday to reflect on periods of transitions and how they’re not always graceful or comfortable… You can watch the video HERE.

Many of you know that I moved cross-country nearly 3 months ago now – and making this massive move and writing a book at the same time (much of which has not gone as planned) has not been easy or comfortable for me…

Just like a 4th-trimester postpartum period, I felt a pretty big post-move/post-project letdown (especially in the dead of winter in the Midwest!), but now that I’m nearing the end of my first 3 months back, and because I’ve given myself space to process, I’m starting to feel an exciting energetic shift.

So often we’re expected to be in the “everything’s great!!” mindset immediately after having the new babe, making the big move, launching the new website, production, or project…but the truth is that a period of letdown oftentimes immediately follows those big transitory moments.

Giving yourself grace during periods of transition – allowing yourself to be in that letdown, gifting yourself the space to reflect, grieve, and come to terms with your new situation – to feel all the feels and to not rush that process, is often where the medicine, magic, and real shift of energy lies…

For me, allowing myself to be on the other side of space-holding, leaning into my physical, emotional, and spiritual practices, and prioritizing what connects me back to my center (meditation, movement, journaling, community) has helped me tremendously with processing these changes.

So, whether you’re entering a new phase of your career, just made a business or physical move, welcomed a new being in the world, or are starting a new year (most of us!), please know it’s ok to be uncomfortable, and it’s ok to take the space to process the big shifts… <3

Always with love,
Ashley

PS, now that I’m feeling this shift of energy, I’m STOKED to share what we’ve got coming down the ABC pipeline with you next week. There’s soooo much goodness to come – so many exciting opportunities to work with me and my team on gaining clarity of your next steps in life or business, bringing your dreams and visions to fruition, and creating the most magically aligned version of your life possible. I can’t wait to share all of this with you so be on the lookout for more info on how we can work and play together in 2024!

PPS, A quick book update! The printing process got significantly slowed down during the holidays, but we finally got the author’s copy back a couple of weeks back…we’re making a few shifts to that copy and should have books in the mail soon! We can’t wait for you to see the finished product (and we can’t wait to see it too!), and you can pre-order your copy HERE

PPPS, I’m sooo excited to lead my first Quincy Replenish Retreat on 2/15. Coming to this retreat gives you the opportunity to slow down, take a pause from doing all the things for everybody else, and gives you a safe and sacred space to reflect, be held, emerge from the winter darkness, and truly feel like yourself again. CLICK HERE for more info and to secure your space (space is limited!) – you will not regret coming to this event or your $ back my friends! ;)
