I hope to find you doing as well as possible. If you’re out here in the SF Bay Area, or pretty much anywhere on the west coast – I feel you, my heart goes out to you, and I’m with you.
Four weeks in a row of constant smoke and destructive fires in your area on top of Covid is enough to make anyone crack.
I’m really feeling it…especially today after I woke up yet again to smoky, apocalyptic-style skies…
That’s why I feel it’s imperative to go out of order and dive into the 6th lesson of my newly released eBook, 11 Core Confidence Boosting Mindsets of an Uninhibited Business QUEEN.

She also actively works on accepting and loving ALL of the parts of who she is…her brilliance and badassery, as well as her shadow side.”
I truly believe that self-care is THE missing link to sustainable feminine leadership, and I believe we’re being called to reclaim our feminine roots through practicing the art of self-care with devotion as we step forward with strength for what we stand for.
As women, especially during the times we’re in, it’s easy to get wrapped up in our never-ending to-do lists and the constant space-holding for our families, our businesses, and our communities, while leaving ourselves and our self-care out of the equation.
We forget how vital self-care is, and that it’s absolutely essential to the sustainability and success of our businesses and our households, long-term.
I’m excited to dive even deeper into advanced self-care strategies in the form of Energetic Hygiene for those of you who hold space for groups (or aspire to), during my upcoming Unleash Your Impact online training course (soooo excited about this, and you’ll be hearing more about that goodness in the coming weeks).
For now, here are a few journaling q’s to support you in taking your self-care to the next level – which will not only help you feel better and more nourished on the daily but will also help you avoid burnout during these trying times.
- What are the ways in which I’m currently prioritizing my self-care? In my personal life, family life, and in my business/professional life?
- What new self-care rituals would I like to weave into my current daily/weekly/monthly self-care routine?
- What obstacles might get in the way of prioritizing these things?
- How can I delegate out or release those obstacles so that I can create the space to practice self-care in this way?
- What am I devoting myself to in terms of my self-care for the season of autumn?
- What’s important about that, and what will prioritize my self-care do for me, my family, and my business?
- How will embodying that make me feel? And what’s important about that?
- What are 1-2 quick leaping actions or rituals that you can commit to, to begin to infuse these into your routine?
All right, beautiful woman, really great work here.
And please remember, prioritizing self-care is always a work in progress… There’s no right or wrong.
Sometimes we have 5 min a day and sometimes we’re blessed enough to have 5 hours. Just do your best to get it in where you can, and you’ll feel the benefits over time.
