How to transmute fear into actions of LOVE…

Lead With Strength. Embody Your Truth. Spread The Love.

Like the many of you I’ve been feeling the shock, frustration and grief of this election outcome – which was also amplified for me Tuesday by the passing of my sweet grandmother, my last living grandparent on this planet.

I took yesterday to feel it all, process, purge, and then process and grieve some more. And while a heaviness in my heart remains, I know that wallowing in this grief and reacting to this situation with anger and fear is not the answer.

Women Rising

Because lest we forget dear friends, that regardless of political stance and the outcome of this election, that something historic, something massive has happened here…

That for the first time in history, a woman was on the ballot for the presidency.

That not even 100 years ago, when my 99 year old grandmother whom just passed away was born in 1917, the 19th Amendment was not yet passed and American women collectively did not yet have the right to vote.

And that yesterday morning, a woman actually WON the popular vote of this historic election!

So I choose, instead of seeing this election as a complete loss, to see it as a moment of hope and a testament of all the hard work that our foremothers put into paving the path for us to get to this place and time in history…

We still have much more work to do here dear ones. The fight isn’t over and it’s not the time for us to throw the towel in.

It’s time for us to continue to RISE UP, collectively. It’s time for us to shift our FEAR into LOVE…and it’s the time of being the LOVE to do LOVE.

Now is the time for us to roll up our sleeves with compassion, come together in supportive community, regain our ground and center, and transmute our grief into positive action.

Now more than ever, the world needs us to fiercely take care of ourselves, to gather in community and continue the good fight by speaking up for what we take a strong stand for and what we believe in. And as Hillary so gracefully said in her concession speech, to “never stop believing that fighting for what’s right is worth it.”

Women, let’s keep our energy strong, and continue to wake up and unleash our wisdom and brilliance into this world.

Because I STILL believe that the Dalai Lama said is right, that “the world will be saved by the Western women”… and we need you, the light workers, the change-makers the catalysts, the do-gooders to continue to step forward with courage and strength.

We can do this together, we can heal this planet…together WE RISE.

Sending so much healing love and light your way,
