Last week I had the pleasure of leading my first Powerhouse Collective gathering at my workshop space and I’m still on cloud 9 after that event!

25 powerful women came together in community, and there was a moment when our musical guest was singing (the beautiful and talented Nina Grae) where I was able to soak in the importance of what we all created that evening – a sacred space in which we as leaders can be supported and inspired by other strong women, so that we can show up with strength and ground for others.

To me, this is the most radical act of SELF-LOVE – to give ourselves permission to come together in circle with other righteous women – where we all have an equal voice, where we all can feel free to be our brilliant, fully-expressed selves, and where we can lift each other up.

And speaking of self-love, I truly believe that self-love is the foundation of EVERYTHING in life and business.

Most of us in this community are committed to helping the world become more peaceful through the work that we do. But if we want to heal the world, we have to heal ourselves first, we have to LOVE ourselves first, we have to create ourselves first, we have to express ourselves first. (Click to Tweet)

And when we do that, when we reclaim our power in this way and learn to fully love ourselves, we build the courage needed to amplify our voices on a larger scale, expand our businesses, and can do our part in healing the world…but it all starts with us.
