One of my core values as a business owner, leader, and woman is this:

Above all else, I center pleasure, joy, and LOVE.

We were brought into these earthly bodies for a reason.

And I believe part of that reason is to leave this planet better energetically than we found it —

to leave with a higher, more expanded frequency than the one we arrived with.

To experience joy… and to spread that joy outward.

And let’s get REAL — there’s A LOT of suffering, heaviness, and darkness on this planet. We don’t bypass that. We acknowledge it. We work with it — both externally and internally.

Because embracing our shadow is actually part of the path to joy.

One of the songs in my Petaluma singing group went like this:

“If you wanna get up to the joy, you’ve gotta go down deep… so go down, go down, go down.”

That line has stayed with me for years.

Working with our shadow — fear, grief, anger, doubt — is part of how we up-level our frequency.

But so is intentionally centering JOY.

And pleasure. And allowing ourselves to feel good now, not someday when everything’s perfect.

And I believe this deeply:

Joy is not a reward for success.
Joy is a strategy for building something that actually thrives.

We don’t need grand gestures to ignite it.

For me? Dance is one of the things that does it.

5-10 minutes.

And it completely shifts my energy for the rest of the day.

And that changes how you show up in your business — how you lead, how you sell, how you hold boundaries, how you receive.
