There’s a certain kind of magic that happens when women gather in circle. We see each other more clearly, we remember our own strength, and we leave feeling lighter, braver, and more connected.

I’ve witnessed this over and over again in my work, and one of my favorite memories comes from back in 2018, when I hosted the Our Loud Hearts Festival on the land I lived and worked on for more than eight years.

That day was unforgettable. Dozens of visionary women came together to share their voices, their creativity, and their magic on stage. It was filled with love, inspiration, transformation, and joy – it was truly nourishing for everyone in attendance.

That’s the magnitude of what happens when women are brought together in supportive, intentional containers. Whether it’s a large festival, an intimate retreat, or a mastermind circle, the energy of community amplifies what’s possible.

And that’s exactly what I’m currently seeing inside The Legacy Council.

 

Here are just a few of the reflections and wins from this round of TLC:

And then there’s Elizabeth’s story, which captures the heart of why spaces like this matter:

Elizabeth’s transformation… from survival mode to building a self-sustaining nonprofit model for her family farm… is a beautiful example of what becomes possible when we’re surrounded by encouragement, accountability, and support.

Here’s what I know through my own experience and so many others – 

• When you share your dreams in a circle of like-minded women, they stop being “someday” dreams and start becoming plans.

• When you’re celebrated in your wins, you expand your belief in what’s possible.

• When you’re held in your challenges, the weight you’ve been carrying lightens, and clarity comes rushing in.

That is the power of being held in community.

I know the importance of putting myself in the room too – I’m also immersing myself in a live event this week  … not one I’m leading, but one I’m attending… to uplevel my own leadership and surround myself with mentors, peers, and support. Because no matter how far along we are on our journey, we all need spaces where we’re reminded of our brilliance and stretched into our next-level growth.
