Today marks the summer solstice – the longest day and shortest night of the year, and a powerful moment to celebrate what truly LIGHTS you UP.
This seasonal turning point invites us to reflect on:
- What makes us feel most alive & radiant
- What brings us joy
- Where we can welcome more play & spaciousness into our lives & businesses
I led a super sweet Replenish Retreat last Thursday in Quincy celebrating the solstice…

and next week I’m leading an extended version in the South of France – SO DAMN STOKED FOR THIS!

My journey to France will also kick off my annual summer sabbatical…
For the past 5 or so years, I’ve taken an extended break in winter and summer, during the seasons of “check in” and “check out” (taking nearly 4 weeks off this year – woot woot!)
That’s the beauty of working for myself, honoring my needs for rest – and designing my business and life on my own terms…
And you can do this too.
Whether it’s 5 days or 5 weeks, we all deserve the space to pause, rest and come back to center… so if you haven’t already done so, ask yourself where you can weave a little spaciousness into your seasonal schedule this summer.
Also I wanted to leave you with a few Summer Solstice Reflection Prompts:
- What lights me up and makes me feel like my most radiant self?
- What actions or rituals help me embody that sense of radiance?
- Where in my life or business am I craving more playfulness and lightness?
- How can I weave more joy, ease, and spaciousness into the season?
- What am I claiming and committing to for the rest of this year?
I hope you take a little time this weekend to pull out your journal, light a candle, honor this seasonal shift, and reflect on what’s lighting you up with intention, joy, and ease.
Sending you so much warmth and solstice magic, and happy summer dear one!
