A homecoming to remember… ❤️

Lead With Strength. Embody Your Truth. Spread The Love.

Sending a quick message today to wish you well, and let you know that my family and I have finally landed back in my hometown of Quincy, IL.

My mom, son and I got here a week and a half ago, and my hubby Dave arrived with the big 26 foot moving truck (with the help of his Dad and brother) about a week ago.

Embarking on this cross-country move has been super humbling, challenging, and a wild whirlwind of a ride to say the least.

I’m finally feeling a slight settling beginning to happen, although boxes and such are strewn everywhere about the house!

But, Quintin absolutely LOVES his new home, and is transitioning nicely into his new school, so I’m so grateful for that…

And, over the past week I led a group call for my Rise & Thrive Collective, held a couple of client calls, secured a location for my upcoming book launch, attended a fundraiser that my brother emceed, visited with my dad, saw a stellar jazz show, hit up a yoga class, and had a coffee with an old gal pal, so I’m getting into the swing…

Here are a few photo highlights of my first week and a half back! ❤️

I’m staring out the window at the immense beauty of the sun setting over the mighty Mississippi as I write this, and I’m feeling a deep sense of peace and knowing that I’m exactly where I need to be…

And, before I sign off, please join me in sending love and prayers for those who are deeply hurting, grieving, fighting, and experiencing immeasurable loss and trauma through the Israel-Hamas war. If you’d like to take action and support, go to Unicef, Doctors Without Borders, Save the Children, or the International Committee of the Red Cross to start.

Thanks for going along this ride back to my roots with me, and I’ll share more on the transition soon…for now, it’s back to proofreading my book manuscript (look out for an email next week to pre-order that puppy!), and sending all the love! ❤️
